You could almost see this one coming.... The Chavez regime's "successes" in fighting poverty, so favored by his apologists in the first world, are being undermined because Chavez is relearning the same lessons of Castro and Mugabe. I feel bad for the Venezuelan people, because they will feel the full brunt and pay the price for the incompetence of the Chavez regime and its "21st Century Socialism." I have to ask Mr. Chavez, if socialism failed in the 20th century, why would it work in the 21st?
Its sad day for this world, but I am sure someone, some way will find a way to blame George Bush.
